
Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds and speaker Ann McGlynn, Executive Director of Tapestry Farms, over the lunch hour on August 19th, 12pm – 1pm to hear her talk about the regenerative methods she and her organization use at their 12 sites throughout the Quad-Cities on our seasonal and hydroponics farm. Methods include cover cropping, tarping, drip lines, crop rotation, and planting of natives and pollinators.
Attend in person at the Davenport Public Library – Eastern Ave. Branch – Room A or tune in via Zoom. Lunch is provided for in-person attendees with a $5 suggested donation.
Ann McGlynn

Ann McGlynn is the founder and executive director of Tapestry Farms, a nonprofit urban farm system that invests in refugees who come to live in the Quad-Cities. She grew up on a small family farm in Clinton County, Iowa, graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s degree in business administration. Ann’s family includes her husband and two college-aged sons.
