Watersheds: Think Global, Act Local
That’s Miss Scott County 2022, Brittany Costello’s motto.
Join Brittany and Partners of Scott County Watersheds on Saturday, June 17th from 9-11:30 am to live out that motto by removing trash on Fairmount Street from the library to Hickory Grove Road. This stretch of road is adjacent to the Fairmount Wetlands and drains directly into Duck Creek, making it a critical place to keep our watersheds clean.
Volunteers should wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. All gloves and other tools will be provided. No prior experience is necessary.
