Every store you go to, you are most likely to find the shelves full of chemical pesticides and fertilizers. We are all so familiar with these products that most of the time we do not stop to ask ourselves if these products are causing true harm to ourselves, others, or nature. About the Speaker

Christian LaCarte is a Scott County native, having gone to North Scott Schools. He received his B.S. from Western Illinois University with a major in Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration and a minor in environmental science. He is a former outdoor specialist (upstate NY, Adirondack Mountains), seasonal Naturalist with the Scott County Conservation Board, YMCA director, and current founder and director of Sustainable Stewards.
