Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds and the City of Walcott to remove invasive species from the wetland areas at Prairie View Park and Heritage Trail. Willows will be removed from the wetland area using loppers and small hand saws and then carried to a designated area in the park for later disposal. Many hands make light work! Removing these trees will ensure that they don’t take over the wetlands and shade out surrounding prairie species.
