Board Member since 2024

Tracey is a life-long resident of Scott County, growing up on a grain and livestock farm near Argo. Always interested in the natural world, she went to college at Augustana College, earning a degree in biology. With a few stops at various careers along the way, Tracey has made a full circle back to her roots, living on the family homestead with her husband and five cats, and is active in conservation activities there. She serves as a volunteer Land Ambassador for the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation and the Erna Kuehl Nature Preserve, land her family donated for permanent wildlife habitat and prairie preservation. Tracey was elected as a commissioner for the Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District in 2024. Ensuring clean water and preserving natural areas is something everyone can help with, and everyone benefits from, and Tracey is happy to help with the Partners of Scott County Watershed’s work
