Come learn, lend a hand, and connect with nature!

The Clean River Advisory Council and Fem Scouts QC invite you to join neighbors and local organizations for an afternoon of hands-on stewardship at Sylvan Island in Moline. Help care for this special place through a community cleanup and nature-based learning experiences. Native planting and stewardship activities are planned, along with opportunities to learn about native plants, pollinators, and how healthy habitats support our community.

All ages are welcome! Children ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. What to wear and bring: Sturdy shoes, long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a hat, bug spray, and sunscreen. We’ll provide: Cleanup bags, tongs, gloves, and safety vests for volunteers.
