Our Mission: To improve the stewardship of Scott County watersheds through education, technical guidance, and volunteer opportunities.
Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds on Saturday, June 1st from 8:30-11:30am for a special work day and ribbon cutting ceremony for the new boat access at the Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area! We will be working 9am-10am, than doing a brief ceremony and thank you, and than getting back to work.
In 2020, PSCW adopted the Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area in partnership with the Iowa DNR. Since then, we have worked to clear out invasive species, overgrown brush, and trash, as well as improve wildlife habitat.
This upcoming work day, we will focus on habitat improvement and brush removal. Volunteers will be either clearing invasives, cleaning up trash, or participating in other habitat improvement projects. We do recommend wearing long pants, closed-toed shoes, hats, sunscreen, and bug spray.
