June 2019 Forum

June’s forum will feature Justin Bisinger and Mark Schutt from the NRCS. Justin and Mark will be breaking down soil health into understandable individual components. While soil health is a broad topic, it can be understood by beginning at the soil particle level then working up towards a healthy soil ecosystem. They will finish the presentation by looking at how a healthy soil benefits both urban and agricultural landscapes to reduce water runoff and nutrient loss.

Tuesday, June 18 from Noon-1PM at the Eastern Ave. Library (6000 Eastern Ave., Davenport, IA). RSVP and $5 required for lunch, but free to attend.

Tuesday, June 18 from 5-6PM at the Eldridge Library (200 N 6th Ave., Eldridge, IA). Coffee and snacks will be provided.
