The Clean Water Act 50th Anniversary: Celebrating the People that Make the Act a Reality

On October 18, 1972, Congress passed the Clean Water Act to protect the surface waters of America. This act regulates point-source pollution and discharge into navigable waters, outlines water quality standards, and promotes “No Net Loss” of wetlands. Without the Clean Water Act, our water quality conditions would look much different and PSCW would not be in the position to do the work that we do.

With that in mind, we want to thank the volunteers that turn the Clean Water Act into a reality.
