October’s forum speaker will be Ken Krier with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
Ken was born and raised in Iowa and earned a BA in Biology and MS in Environmental Science from UNI. He has served 23 years with the DNR, with 3 years in the Water Supply Section and 20 years in the Water Monitoring and Assessment Section. Ken now manages the Iowa Fish Tissue Monitoring Program, the Ambient Biological Monitoring and Assessment Program, and co-leads the Integrated Report Program. He is married with 2 children and enjoys hunting, fishing, and working on his house and yard.
Ken will be presenting an overview and latest research of the Iowa Fish Tissue Monitoring Program.
