May’s forum will feature Brian Burkholder, Roadside Vegetation Specialist with Scott County Secondary Roads Department. Brian oversees the county’s Integrated Roadside Vegetation Management (IRVM) program and previously worked for the City of Davenport Natural Resources/Clean Water Department. Some of his job duties include brush control, vegetating bare ground, erosion control, spray program, education and outreach, grant writing, noxious weed complaints and control, and mapping out the roadsides. Brian will be discussing the IRVM program and the updates that have been made to the program over the last two years along with future goals.
