The speaker for August Forum is Bob Bryant. He was director of the Clinton County Conservation Board for 15 years, and director of Scott County Conservation Board’s Wapsi River Environmental Education Center for 16 years. Now retired, he continues to be involved with local conservation projects and activities, especially natural area inventories and restoration projects. His presentation, “The Lost, Almost Lost and the Newly Discovered” is a historical look at the interaction of man and nature and its impact on the flora and fauna of the Quad City Region, from the 1830’s to the present.
Partners of Scott County Watersheds forum will be held Tuesday, August 15 at 12pm at the Eastern Avenue Library, 6000 Eastern Ave, Davenport, IA 52807.
