SUMMARY:Crow Creek Wildlife Area Cleanup
DESCRIPTION:Join Partners of Scott County Watersheds and Iowa DNR for a cleanup at Crow Creek Wildlife Management Area! We will have opportunities for many age levels and abilities. Volunteer jobs include trash pickup along the shore\, clearing brush\, and removing invasive species throughout the park. \nGloves\, trash bags\, litter tongs\, loppers\, and other tools will be provided\, but participants are highly encouraged to bring their own loppers\, shovels\, trowels\, and any other tools if possible. Volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and sleeves\, close-toed shoes\, bug spray\, sunscreen\, and a hat. \nWeather Dependant – please watch your email for announcements on incoming weather.

DESCRIPTION:Come learn\, lend a hand\, and connect with nature! \nThe Clean River Advisory Council and Fem Scouts QC invite you to join neighbors and local organizations for an afternoon of hands-on stewardship at Sylvan Island in Moline. Help care for this special place through a community cleanup and nature-based learning experiences. Native planting and stewardship activities are planned\, along with opportunities to learn about native plants\, pollinators\, and how healthy habitats support our community. \nAll ages are welcome! Children ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. What to wear and bring: Sturdy shoes\, long pants\, a long-sleeved shirt\, a hat\, bug spray\, and sunscreen. We’ll provide: Cleanup bags\, tongs\, gloves\, and safety vests for volunteers.
