SUMMARY:Fall Snapshot 🦺🧪
DESCRIPTION:Registration for the Fall 2026 Snapshot is open! This is your opportunity to become a citizen scientist for the day and gather important chemical data on Scott County’s watersheds. No experience is needed! \nSign up for this citizen scientist event on Tuesday\, October 6th from 8am-12pm. Volunteers will start the day off at the Bettendorf Fire Department (5002 Crow Creek Rd\, Bettendorf\, IA 52722) for a brief overview about water quality and quick training on how to collect the data. During this time\, you’ll be able to meet your data collection group while enjoying some coffee and donuts. \nAfter training\, you and your group of 3-4 people will take off to collect data from 5-7 sites around Scott County. This data will include pH\, nitrogen\, chloride\, and phosphorus levels.
